The Santa Barbara Sea Shell Association stores our fleet of Sabots, Teras, and Skiffs and our related sailing equipment and supplies in a series of “condos,” which consist of eight teal buildings on West Beach, adjacent to the Santa Barbara launch ramp. Seven of these condos store approximately 58 boats. These structures require an active maintenance schedule to stand up to the elements and heavy usage by our group. However, maintenance can only do so much and the condos now require more substantial renovations.
Funds are urgently needed to complete a major improvement project to update the condos and ensure our operations can continue. We are embarking on a capital improvement project to raise necessary funds for this condo improvement project.
